Explore our seven calls to action for the new Government to integrate children who use EAL.
This webinar explores how schools can implement impactful CPD on EAL using the updated Classroom Guidance and Strategies.
This webinar will explore how to use The Bell Foundation’s updated Classroom Guidance and Strategies to inform the development of continuous professional development (CPD) programmes on English as an Additional Language (EAL). It will cover characteristics of effective teacher learning and apply these principles to developing a practical, impactful CPD programme with the intention of improving the outcomes for learners using EAL. Participants will learn about different approaches to using the support strategies in staff training that they can apply or adapt for their own contexts.
We recommend that participants familiarise themselves with the updated Classroom Guidance and Strategies document before the webinar.
Part of the webinar will be allocated to a Q&A session. If you have any questions related to the webinar topic which you would like answered during the live session, please send them to: webinar@bell-foundation.org.uk
If the webinar is full, please complete the wait list form and you will be contacted if a place becomes available. Everyone on the wait list will be sent a copy of the webinar recording.
